Flag Ship Acquisition Corp. is a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) formed to identify and complete a business combination with a target company, typically in a specific industry or sector. SPACs raise capital through an initial public offering and hold the proceeds in trust while searching for an acquisition target within a specified timeframe, usually 18-24 months. Until a merger or acquisition is completed, the company has no operations beyond the search for a suitable business combination.
