Dune Acquisition Corp. II units are derivative securities that combine ordinary shares with warrants in a single tradable package. Each unit typically consists of one share of common stock and a fraction of one warrant, allowing holders to purchase additional shares at a predetermined price. Units are commonly issued by special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs) during their initial public offerings. These securities eventually separate into their constituent parts, allowing investors to trade the shares and warrants independently.
