Genesis Energy LP is a diversified midstream energy master limited partnership (MLP) providing infrastructure services to the oil and gas industry. The partnership operates through four segments: offshore pipeline transportation, soda and sulfur services, marine transportation, and onshore facilities and transportation. Genesis owns and operates pipelines, marine vessels, processing plants, and terminaling facilities primarily in the Gulf Coast region. As an MLP, Genesis distributes the majority of its cash flow to unitholders in the form of quarterly distributions.
